You all know about the “freebie” list right? As made famous by the Friends episode: ‘The One with Frank Jr.’ Where you and your partner both list five celebrities that you can have your wicked way with should the opportunity arise and the other person can’t get mad? Well it came up in conversation recently…
Now maybe it’s just the hopeless romantic in me but I don’t really understand this (aside from the fact that it’s fun and most likely never going to happen!) and I wonder if anyone has actually taken the golden opportunity and how they and their partner felt/coped afterwards. Can sex ever be just that in a monogamous relationship? Do you think you could really go through with it even with your partners ‘blessing’? On the flip side, life is for living and taking chances. If you want something badly enough just go for it. Doesn’t ask definitely doesn’t get. And if your significant other doesn’t agree/understand maybe you weren’t right for each other after all? Then there’s the age and seriousness of the relationship. Would it be more or less acceptable if you were in a long-term situation rather than short-term?
Musings aside, I thought I’d join in the fun and compile my freebie list. Apparently I’m a strange breed of female who is actually more interested than who the person is on the inside rather than how hot they are to look at so this was actually really hard for me! The conversation took place on Wednesday and I have only just finalised this list two minutes ago (in fact I probably just went and made a change 10 seconds before hitting publish!)
